They are different than the ones I had they had a different closureI like this barrette a lot but it broke recently after only using a few times. The latch became unglued from the barrette. This is disappointing as it's a Camila Paris barrette and my Camila Paris barrettes have lasted for years. This barrette was not cheap so breaking now is not reasonable as I am careful with them. I would love a replacement as I liked the barrette a lot. I don't mind gluing it but if the glue doesn't work I don't want to forfit a chance for a replacement.said for heavy hair... would not work for mine... returnedDoes not work well on thicker hair. I think this must be for young children whose hair is more thin. Smaller than I was expecting.I love this Camilla clip! I wasn’t careful about checking the exact measurements, and it turned out to be too small to hold all of my hair up. I think my hair is average thickness, but to get the entire bun in a clip requires a 4” clip. Though this one is too small, I can still use it for clipping up the sides of my hair. Now that I’m fully gray, the black and white design is quite a pretty complement.
