I usually use anywhere from ~6 to 12 of these to put my shoulder-length hair up in pincurls before bed. With the 40-pack, I’m not worried about losing/leaving a few behind. They hold well without putting any crimps in my hair and they don’t snag or get tangled up in my hair. I like that they lie flat to my head, unlike the pronged curl clips I used before which stick out at the hinge. Being flat, I can still look neat if I tie my hair up in a wrap/turban when spending time at home or needing to run an errand but don’t want to take my hair down. They are small so they don’t hold a lot of hair. If my hair were longer or thicker, I think they would be too small.
