I may have put too much weight on the clips because over time they got weak and eventually snapped. I got bigger ones that are holding better. They're command strips as well and I do like the brand.I bought this few years ago, and it was great. Sturdy and adhesive. Now, it falls right when attached to a wall, can't hold anything without falling... Something with the qualityThe command strip don't always work well. Some came off the wall, window and patio. Some hold well, others just come off although I cleaned the underground surface with alcohol, let it dry, pushed it into the surface for 60 sec., added a tape to hold it to the surface for 24 hours before adding the decoration. But some come off a few hours later or a few days. Others hold really nice for a year or more. I have gotten wall damage when removing the tape, the paint peeled off too and often a patch of paint comes with the hook that is not working well. In the patio I used super glue to glue them in place, so definitely not removable, but they still come off. I even sanded the wall before applying the sticky. I am not excited because of the inconsistent performance. Overall ⅔ work. It's the adhesive sticky tape that has inconsistent performance on the wall side.Pretty good and worked as expected. I tried to use them to hang up lights in my dorm room, but the walls don’t really let anything stick to them so they all fell down. On a normal wall they would probably stick well. The wall they were on had multiple different textures and so it wasn’t the product’s fault.We always used these to put up Xmas lights. No problems. We also found they are sturdy enough to put up a 25 foot telephone wire along the wall up by the ceiling. No problems with the hooks coming loose like some said. We followed directions i.e. cleaned the wall with alcohol, positioned the tabs carefully and let them 'cure' one hour before hanging the wire. We even had to pull on the wire some to get it to reach and we had to cut some corners so the wire is really hanging just by the hooks. There's still no sign of them coming loose. The hook is just a hook so position them right, they will not actually clip onto the cord like the other kind. Where the line needed to run straight up or down we simply have the cord hanging from the hook at the top with no fasteners at all along the vertical and there is still no sign that the hook wants to pull away from the wall. Good sturdy adhesive. Nice white color. Simple to put up. As for size, I think for Xmas lights, phone wire or light speaker wire etc. they are wonderful. They would probably work for regular electric cords or extension cords or maybe even plain USB. They are not going to work though for thick or round cords like surge suppressors, RJ-45, coaxial or anything like that. Command does make a slightly more expensive but bigger and sturdier product that does work for that though. Search cord clips instead of decorating clips.The hooks in this set were made using injection molding, so they are connected by plastic tabs. These tabs are easy to snap apart for use, however; doing this can leave sharp plastic edges on the hooks.For the first few hooks, I just snapped them apart and mounted them, but in doing so I frequently poked and scraped my fingers on the sharp edges. In the end I used a pair of flush-cutter nippers to clean up the edges on all the hooks before mounting them, which definitely made the mounting process less painful.I don't recommend these hooks unless you have a pair of flush-cutters on hand (scissors will not work for this.) Otherwise, they are a great purchase and are definitely worth the money. Excellent choice for mounting fairy-lights or christmas lights indoors.The command packaging had been opened and the adhesive strips were missing. I was unable to use the product and had to return.I use these clips for my holiday lights. They are perfect easy to use with great adhesion.I used these to put christmas lights up on my wooden mantle piece & floating shelf so i did not have to use blu tac or scelotape it was much easier using these as you just gently push the wire ofnthe lights into the hook area which holds the lighst very securely. I only used around 6 on each item they go on easily and blend in because my items are white. The lights went up alot quicker than usual & it took me seconds to take the lights down. These do come off easily with just a pull however ifvthey have been on for quite some time it is more difficult to get them off and it acn leave some sticky behind but this isnifvthey have been up for 2/3 years . Would i recommend them to a friend absolutelyCleaned all my window frames in preparation for putting these up. Waited until they were dry put up hooks left them for a day attached lights most fell down. Not sure if older stock. But haven’t worked. I’ve had a bit of a nightmare all round trying to get these hooks first delivery got delivered somewhere but not my address. So these were replacements. Should of paid the extra and got the clear ones not the white ones. Never had any issues with the clear ones.These are great. I used them to put up Christmas trimmings & they do exactly what they say they will, as in they come off cleanly & easily when you want them to. I've also used one to hang a lightweight photo frame in the wall - which fair enough, I thought might be outside the load capacity of these tiny hooks - but it's been a week & it's stayed up. Really excellent innovative product.Great strong little things. Instructions are very easy to understand. Bought these to hang fairy lights and they are very easy to use. I stuck them on pvc windows and left them till the next day - to let the glue set. The lights are on and have stayed put. No messing around with blue tack or sellotape. Would recommend theseI purchased these hooks having seen them on TV, you know the one where she just touches the hook to the wall then immediately hangs half a dozen satchels, two overcoats and a sack of spuds onto it, a month later she comes back and with a flick she removes it from the wall without leaving a trace, of course they don’t mention that you have to scrub the wall first with rubbing alcohol, then press firmly and hold for thirty seconds and then not to hang anything on it for an hour and when you do it just falls off.
