I find it hilarious the people that say it is plastic. You've never seen polished buffalo horn I take it. Have yours broken and have you seen the fibers in there that make up the horn? Would you recognize them if you did see them? I didn't think so. This is polished horn...looks like in several layers bonded together and possibly clear coated with something.
