The pins are perfectly fine. They even go into the clips to hang something from the board you don’t want to put a hole in.The clips are a little on the small side for my taste. I like clip that can hold a big stack of paper and this is comparable to a large paper clip. I can’t use them to hold a sketchbook or the like open, and I use clips like this all the time for my bullet journal.They are all really cute. I like them. I don’t love them.Bought these for a project to hang family pictures from and they worked perfect!!I love the clips, but I didn't receive all 20 push pins to go with the clips. So, I am unable to use all of them.My clips arrived as advertised and are nice and sturdy. The spring in each one is nice and stiff. I received 37 clips total. The bronze color goes great with my antique looking scrapbooks and journals.Also included were some really heavy duty push pins. These are the same material as the clips and are larger than standard cheap plastic flat head push pins. I received 32 and a tiny length of chain, lol. I'm also going to use these in my journals.So with the clips and the added bonus of push pins, this is the best deal right now. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.Bought these to clip photos on a pallet wood backing. Other reviewers had said the clips came with some tacks, which was a great bonus! I used them to tack the clips to the board (see pics) and they held very tightly. Very pleased.
