Pretty! I asked if the back was the same as the front and received one answer each: "yes" and a "no". Both are technically correct, but if you're considering to use this as a hanging heart, I absolutely recommend you buy 2 so you can open them up and tape the paper "lace" trims together and hang them using both strings. The "gold" and white "lace" trim gives it a nice classy look - much prettier than the paper only fold-out hearts. If you try to bring the two trims together in the back for a hanging heart, you'll be very disappointed. It doesn't make a nice heart shape at all - it looks like a red upside-down Hershey's kiss. Either buy two of these, or just get the tissue fold-out hearts. Believe me. I tried to like it but just couldn't get there. While I think these are a little pricey considering they're made of tissue and paper, they are quite sturdy. If you plan on reusing them (which I do for the $), put them out of reach! They won't tolerate little (or big!!) fingers messing with them. ;o)I adore this garland! It's truly pretty with its frilly hearts, nostalgic yet timeless. I bought several thinking I could trim to fit, but that's not possible as the single eleastic thread gives it a dimensional effect. Although you can't cut the garland, you should be able to zig-zag it. It is easy to create a scalloped effect by pinning or stapling the elastic; it was very pretty festooned along the top of an armoire. It's so much sweeter and nicer than any of the tacky metallic junk found in stores -- all of that looks like landfill to me. This vintage style looks beautiful with antiques and is elegant in a way. I'm grateful Amazon has made me aware of the manufacturer, Beistle, as their vintage designs are exactly my taste. This is much sturdier than I expected it to be. The hearts are thin paper, attached to cardboard at each end for hanging. There's a long strand of elastic that runs the length of the garland. You can't see the elastic -- just attach the cardboard ends to the wall (or whatever you wish to attach them to, really) and the hearts will bounce down from the elastic. It has a very nice drape all on its own, but I don't think you could easily create multiple drapes. Best to just go with a single curve. It folds flat into a nice stable package -- easy to store without damaging the paper so it can be used again next year. SImple garland done right. When I send greeting cards, these work great on the back flap to send a little extra love. They're bright and happy ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch sizes.Nice Valentine's Day tie. Face it, how often are you going to wear a tie with hearts on it? For that reason this is a nice inexpensive tie.Easy on my hair, no breakage. No issues with tight headbands since they just clip in. Stay put well and can be arranged however I want, both on one side or like ears. I had low expectations for such a low cost item, but they are actually very well made! Can't wait to wear itLove them! It’s okay. Nothing special. Doesn’t really keep its shape. Doesn’t reeeaaally look like a heart.GreatCame damaged
