There are six bows in total. There are two medium and four small bows. The larger bows hold on well to my short to medium length hair but the smaller ones do not. The reason is those bows have a cloth covered clip which does not allow for a good grip.These are more of an accessory piece than bows that hold hair. They can also be used as package toppers or to decorate a tree.The current price of $9.99 comes to $1.67 per bow, which is a little pricey. If all the bows held on tight, I would have rated this 4 stars.
