These clips are easy to use and quite durable. The screw mechanism to tighten the clip onto a tarp or plastic is a must. I use them on the boat tarp and the wood pile cover. Much better than the grommets in tarps.I use these clips on many things. I have nothing negative to say about this product. It has helped my life quite a bit because every single time I get a tarp I have to worry about it splitting in some areas. Even expensive tarps do it. So I’m using them when the little hole splits in there’s no longer there I use this clip in the place of it. I’m sure it be excellent for many other things like garden drapes etc..The throat on these clips is not very deep, nor did the mouth open very wide.Good product for a great priceHave brand new above ground pool which was installed this summer. These new clamps are wonderful, none have come loose and I can get them on without help. I've bought several sets & even given some as gifts to friends.Sturdy clamps, with a hole for a rope or bungy cord to secure the tarp. In the past I used the grommets in the tarps to cover my boat over the winter, but by Spring half of them would be torn, and I would have to replace the tarp. These clamps work great - very secure and extend the life of the tarp.I haven’t used them yet but can tell they are exactly what I needed. They are very sturdy looking and are strong enough to do that task of securing a heavy duty top over a shelter that has a worn out top that is torn badly.Got the 20 pcs pack and the 2nd one I used cracked.
