I have used these magnets as chip clips and to hold photos and lists on the fridge. They work great and have good grip.Will clip bags closed ok but the magnets to keep them on the fridge do not work at all. Tried to put them in the fridge to keep handy and they fall right off, have to keep them in drawerWould have never guessed a clip could be made this small. Only 1.25 inch wide clip jaw. Not sure how this will work with large bag of chips.I don’t know how these possibly got any good reviews because the magnets are super weak. Takes about 3 of these clips to hold up some lightweight paper on the fridge. They all arrived dirty looking and scratches on each clip. When u open the clips they feel very cheap too as if they’ll easily break. I don’t wanna go through the hassle of returning them otherwise they would have been going back! These are literally the worst clips I’ve ever bought. They might work to keep a bag of chips closed but are terrible for use on the fridge. Don’t recommend at all.I use these clips on my snack bags in the kitchen. When not in use, they stick to the side of my fridge. They close on bags very tightly, so they're terrific as far as that goes! However, their magnets could stand to be a bit stronger, which is why I had to knock off a star. If they were stronger magnets, they'd get a perfect score.Main reason I purchased these was because of the teal color. They are a little short for being chip bag clips.., maybe two inch length. But they'll do. Wish they made bigger clips so I could buy those.These are everything they should be, functional and attractive. Best of all, the magnets are strong enough to hold them in place on the refrigerator, unlike my old ones which slithered slowly downward day by day. Completely recommend.These would be great IF they actually stuck to fridge. Magnets are not strong enough, so they slide down and fall off.
