I am fortunate enough to have a thick mane that is very long....It is very hard for me to find heavy duty clips. Most wont hold and brake easly. These fit the bill so far. I have been using the same one daily and have not had a problem holding/ containg my "bun". They have a durable construction and a tight spring. If you are in the market for clips for long thick hair this would be the ticket...Plus they are stylish.I love these hair clips. They look so classy and beautiful. They have a little weight to them but they aren't so heavy that they bother me to wear. I will say the the part of the clip that goes against your head is a little sharper than other gold claw clips that I have and if I'm not careful it can scratch my head when putting them in. I dropped it one star for that, but for the price, I'd definitely buy them again.I really like how these clips work and look. The spring is very strong and will hold your hair in place all day. Careful for the metal teeth, they are a bit sharper than I prefer. Overall a good value.Amazingly these are the best hair clips on the market. They grip AND they hold heavy long hair.
