Not the old 80’s clips but did very well. Great buy for the price!Two of the clips broke after using them a couple of timesI bought these because the listing says it works for thick hair but they DON'T! The first one I put in my hair broke before I could even clip it closed. If you have medium, thick, wavy, or curly hair these will not work. Sad because I really like this style of clips.Great deal but a few didn’t lock and stay closedyes i was looking forward to bringing back the 80's... but i was quick to remember why they did not stay around... even with my perm, they fall out during the day and the tug on my hair... just not worth it for me.I'm 60 and these are perfect, after having my shoulder replaced and the other one needed, these are so much easier than clips and rubber bands, love them and so far very durable!!!!These are just not sturdy enough for my long, thick hairThese clips are sturdy.
