I know, "they're JUST HAIR PINS. How integral could they POSSIBLY be to your daily life???"well, they are.I have (and have always had) very thick hair and I have trouble with headaches and getting my hair to stay up. I have bought and tried most every hair tie, clip, stick, pin, etc. that exists. I play sports and I am very active so I sweat a lot, and need to keep my hair contained. I also need to look presentable at work. My co-worker constantly comments on how "heavy" my hair is, and asks if I get headaches from my hair. Yes, i do. It is a freakin workout to brush my hair .... ugh. These are truly the only things that work for keeping my hair up. If I do a tight bun, I only need to use 1 pin, sometimes 2, to get my hair to stay. I don't have to re-adjust all day (at work). That is 8-10 hours of time that my hair doesn't annoy the crap out of me. Which is awesome!I somehow stumbled upon these pins while on a typical "Amazon whirlwind click-a-thon" and I am so happy I did.I bought the Silver ones and the Bronze ones. I thought that i'd like the silver ones best, and took a chance on the bronze ones too. The silver ones are verrrry shiny, and the bronze ones are like an "antique" bronze, not shiny. I end up wearing the bronze ones way more often because they are less noticeable, even though I have blonde hair.I'm now in my 30s, but when I was a teenager, I swiped some hair pins from my mom, and I used those to put my hair up. They were strong metal and held my hair up! Then one day, my mom asked, "where are the pins for my curlers!?" and I had to give them back. Yes, they were U-Pins that were meant to hold super-old-school heated curlers in hair!!!After that, I was in a never-ending search for hair pins as strong as my mom's curler pins.... I had purchased many different types over the years, hoping for something even remotely as strong. I had given up... Hair sticks were too bulky and too obvious, and I can't wear those while playing sports. They were also super expensive; you buy 1 Pair of sticks for 10-15 bucks! what if you lose them? what if they break? ugh....So here I am, finally my search is over. I have found the clips that will live with me forever. And I have 20 of them (2 packs) so I can keep some in my purse, some at my desk at work, some in my car, some at home; no matter where I am, I will not be without them. So, YES, they are integral to my life. Maybe just my sanity, idk. But THANK YOU for being the provider of my sanity. Please keep selling these, as I've already turned multiple people on to them. And, it is not IF, but WHEN, I lose a large majority of these pins, I will be able to buy more. :)
